Xiaomei Tan is the project manager of CEP’s China Program. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science, a Masters degree in Economics, and a Ph.D. in Public Policy, with a focus on environmental policy. Xiaomei has published a number of articles in peer reviewed journals and newspaper, including International Journal for Sustainable Development, Ecological Economy, Chinese Journal of Population, Resources and Environment, and China Science and Technology Daily. Currently, Xiaomei leads work on the transference of clean technologies, with emphasis on developing countries. She also plays an important role in facilitating the communication between China and the US on climate and energy issues.
