About Walton Upchurch
Prior to coming to WRI, Walton spent a year as a Human Resources coordinator at the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, DC. Her work with the Environmentally Friendly Roundtable at CEB led her to WRI's publications and resources, which she used to help build a case for the company to purchase renewable energy. Before her brief experience in the private sector, she worked as an intern at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and Smithsonian American Art Museum. She holds an undergraduate degree in Art History from Davidson College in North Carolina.
