Tom works on the International Financial Flows for the Environment project where he focuses on sustainable energy and economic development. His research covers international financial institutions activities in climate and energy. He began with the team as an intern working on the World Bank Energy strategy.

Prior to joining WRI, Tom worked for the Massachusetts State Legislature and interned with Ceres, a leader in responsible investing and corporate social responsibility. He holds a BA in philosophy from Bates College, and a Masters in International Relations and Environmental Policy from Boston University.
