About Thomas Damassa

Tom Damassa is an Associate with WRI’s climate and energy program. He currently manages the Climate Analysis Indicators Tool (CAIT), WRI’s database of greenhouse gas emissions data and related indicators, and oversees the compilation and reporting of WRI’s own greenhouse gas inventory. Tom is also involved with projects related to U.S. climate policy and WRI’s climate business groups. Previously at WRI, Tom worked on the EarthTrends project, where he managed an online collection of international sustainable development indicators and authored analyses of environmental trends.

He holds a M.S. degree in Geosciences from The University of Arizona and a B.S. in Geological Sciences and Environmental Studies from Tufts University.
