Sonal Shah is an Associate – Urban Development and Accessibility at EMBARQ India. She coordinates projects on improving accessibility to mass transit stations, and within business districts and residential neighbourhoods through street and public space design.
Sonal has over 7 years’ experience in architecture, research, urban planning and design in the USA and India. She has worked on development plans, heritage management plans, urban redevelopment, and housing policy research.
Sonal is an architect-urban planner. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in architecture from Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environmental Studies, Mumbai and a Master’s degree in International Planning from Columbia University, New York.
