About Sarah
Sarah Lupberger is the Project Coordinator for the Electricity Governance Initiative (EGI) and the Governance of Forests Initiative (GFI). Before joining EGI and GFI, Sarah did research on land tenure law for the Equity, Poverty and the Environment Project and on environmentally-caused supply chain disruptions for the Green Supply Chain Project.
Sarah holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Chicago. Her honors research investigated the role of biodiversity conservation in the Maya Itza cultural revival in Peten, Guatemala. She has also worked on indigenous forestry issues at the Rights and Resources Initiative as well as on community development in Uttarakhand, India.
