About Robert

Robert (Rob) is the Program Coordinator II for the Markets and Enterprise Program. He works to coordinate outreach and communications around Aqueduct, WRI’s tool for measuring and mapping water risks. He also assists with the working groups charged with designing, testing, and applying Aqueduct’s database and tools for a variety of audiences. Rob also helps coordinate the Markets and Enterprise Program’s efforts across both the New Ventures and Environmental Intelligence objectives, managing the administration, operations, and finances for the program.

Rob previously worked in government relations, advocating for the funding and implementation of environmentally sound water infrastructure solutions in communities across the United States. He has also done research and advocacy on wildlife conservation issues ranging from multinational species conservation finance to illegal online trafficking in animal products. Rob holds a B.A. in political science from American University in Washington D.C.

Rob is an avid backpacker and canoeist, and completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2007. His other passions include commuting by bicycle and the Boston Red Sox.
