About Raquel Gonzalez
Raquel works primarily with the international climate team as a Project Coordinator for WRI’s Climate and Energy Program.
Raquel is half Brazilian, half Cuban and was born and raised in Brazil. She attended the University of Miami where she obtained a B.A. in International Relations and Psychology and a minor in Foreign Languages in 2005. While in college, she participated in two summers abroad: Santiago, Chile and Santander, Spain.
After graduating and enjoying some time off travelling, Raquel moved to Washington, DC and is content to have joined the WRI on such a wonderful mission.
