Peter Tinti is a Project Coordinator for the People and Ecosystems Program (PEP), supporting sustainable forest management projects in Central Africa.

Prior to joining WRI, Peter lived in the Republic of Mali where he worked as a Program Support Specialist for the Governance and Communications team at USAID. He also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali, working on several projects pertaining to ecotourism, food security and good governance.

Peter holds an M.A. in International Peace and Security from King’s College London and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
