About Pascal

Pascal is the forest team’s GIS/Remote Sensing Research Analyst in the People & Ecosystems Program. Pascal works primarily with the Central Africa forest atlases and specifically the Republic of Congo forest carbon stocks & emissions project for the Congo Basin Forest Fund. He also works with WRI’s forest/climate projects in Indonesia.

Prior to joining WRI, Pascal worked for the Natural History Museum in Paris as a database manager on fauna and flora inventories. He also worked in India for the French Institute of Pondicherry in Geomatics for the ecology department.

Pascal earned his Master’s degree in Geomatics from the University of Toulouse (ENSAT,UTM).

In his free time, Pascal enjoys music, photography, and outdoor activities.
