Ornanong (Dow) Martin manages mapping and monitoring solutions for landscape restoration champions in governments, non-profits, and businesses. In her previous roles with the Global Restoration Initiative, she developed the team’s global strategy and managed restoration projects and research in Rwanda. She also started the Forests Program’s monitoring and evaluation (M&E) practice. Prior to WRI, Dow provided M&E training and completed performance and impact evaluations in Asia and Africa as a Program Officer at the National Democratic Institute. She also consulted for Pact and MSI and served as a community organizer for thousands of migrant workers with United Farm Workers and Migrant Justice Program, Thailand.

Dow earned an MA in International Development Studies from George Washington University and a BA in Law from University of California, Irvine. In her spare time, Dow enjoys playing tennis and singing with her husband, Nick.
