Nicolae Duduta is a Transportation Research Analyst in EMBARQ’s Research & Practice group.

He holds a Master of City Planning in Transportation and a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure in Lyon, France.

Prior to joining EMBARQ, Mr. Duduta worked as a researcher at the UC Berkeley Center for Global Metropolitan Studies. During this time, he developed planning guidelines and design concepts for future High-Speed Rail station areas in California, and also worked on transportation and urban design projects in Jinan, Chengdu and Beijing, China. His recent work has focused on integrating building energy modeling with transportation simulation tools at the neighborhood and city level, in order to develop comprehensive plans for sustainable neighborhoods and better evaluate their environmental performance.
