About Moray

Moray McLeish is principal consultant and manager of WRI’s Project POTICO, a project designed to prevent deforestation in Indonesia by diverting planned oil palm plantations from forests to degraded land.

Moray has worked in the natural resources management sector for 13 years; in field-level implementation, research, policy development and environmental due diligence. He has experience in assisting businesses to set standards to meet market requirements for sustainability, in implementing these throughout the supply chain, in auditing and advising on compliance.

He holds a M.A. in Environment, Development and Policy and a Bachelor of Land Economy and has worked with the UK Department for International Development, The Nature Conservancy, and the International Finance Corporation.
