As the communications manager for WRI's Climate Program, Molly Bergen is passionate about telling compelling stories that showcase how humanity is fighting the most urgent challenge of our time.

Prior to this role, Molly was the Central Africa Communications Officer for WRI, WWF and the Wildlife Conservation Society, where she focused on spotlighting the work of the Central Africa Regional Program for the Environment (CARPE), a partnership to transition the region to a climate-resilient, low-emissions development path through sustainable management of forests.

Before joining WRI, Molly was the senior managing editor for Conservation International’s blog, Human Nature, where she wrote hundreds of blog posts and collaborated with staff in more than 25 countries to tell compelling stories about their work. Previously, she had stints as an international volunteer with the Jane Goodall Institute in Tanzania and a zookeeper in Connecticut.

Molly has a B.A. in Anthropology from Skidmore College.

Outside of work, Molly is passionate about animals, drumming and spending as much time as possible outside.
