Lillian Torres manages the administration and operations of WRI’s Development Department. She joined WRI in 1997, and has served the Institute in other capacities including managing fundraising activities for WRI’s Sustainable Enterprise Program, coordinating WRI’s Corporate Council, and directing prospect research.
Prior to joining WRI, Lillian served as Development Coordinator for the Environmental and Energy Study Institute, an environmental policy organization dedicated to promoting environmentally sustainable societies. She has also held positions with the International Division of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, House of Ruth, and Conservation International.
Lillian earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Maryland in College Park. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Applied Anthropology from the same University.
