About Lesley Pories
Lesley is the Project Coordinator II / Research Analyst for the People and Ecosystems Program’s Central Africa projects. She has been at WRI since November 2006.
A 2003 graduate of Emory University, Lesley double-majored in International Studies and English and minored in French. During that time she interned in the European Parliament as well as The Carter Center.
Upon graduation, she spent two years teaching English as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Uzbekistan. When she returned to the US as well as her native metro DC area, she worked in the for-profit development community before coming to WRI.
