About Karen
Karen supports WRI’s Human Resources team as a part-time Assistant. She has been with WRI since May 2010, working in EMBARQ as Executive Assistant before coming to Human Resources in January 2013. Prior to that, she worked as Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Institutional Research at Northern Virginia Community College.

Karen’s other professional interests include organizational dynamics and management, professional counseling, and sustainable living. She is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in psychology. Her hobbies include fossil hunting, gardening, tennis, and horseback riding.
