JP Leous connects WRI with the private sector to scale the impact of WRI’s signature initiatives and break new ground in corporate sustainability. As Director for International Corporate Relations, he spearheads impact partnerships, philanthropic relationships, and new engagement mechanisms across WRI’s global network of offices and platforms.

JP has spent over a decade working on the world’s most pressing sustainability challenges. Over his career, JP has driven client and stakeholder solutions across Fortune 500s, institutional/governmental and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining WRI, JP held posts in corporate sustainability consulting and climate policy, and also served on the faculty of The George Washington University’s School of Public Health and Health Services.

A Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, JP received his graduate degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where he co-founded the school’s first prize for student-led sustainability-focused projects: The Award for Progressive Sustainability.

JP enjoys the outdoors, photography, playing mandolin and making others laugh.
