About Jianwen
Jianwen Bai is responsible for financial management in the WRI China office, including accounting, budget, taxation, and auditing. He is also a research assistant in China’s outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) research project.
Prior to joining the WRI China office, Jianwen was an intern at WRI headquarters, where he provided support for the Emerging Actors in Development Finance project to conduct research on China’s overseas investment. He also had some accounting and consulting experiences in private sectors in both US and China.
Jianwen is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and has passed all CPA exams. He holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Delaware, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fudan University. He also has studied at Waseda University in Japan.
