About Jennifer

Jennifer is a Project Coordinator for the People and Ecosystems Program (PEP), supporting sustainable forest management projects in Central Africa. She works to maintain contract agreements with partners, including overseeing reporting requirements and follow-up needs to complete agreements on time. She assists in the updating of budgets and maintenance of project databases as well as developing communications pieces for the program.

Prior to joining WRI, Jennifer lived in the Republic of Mali where she worked as a Communications and Outreach Specialist for a USAID-funded education contract. Prior to living in Bamako, Mali, she served as an Environmental Specialist with the Peace Corps in a rural village in the Segou region where she worked with a women’s cooperative on improved shea butter practices and a men’s association on the construction of a cereal bank for food security

Jennifer is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in International Education from the School for International Training (Brattleboro, VT) and holds B.A. degrees in Art History and French from the University of Mary Washington. She speaks French and Bambara.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys treasure-hunting (in thrift stores), ultimate frisbee and letter writing-all while eating frozen yogurt.
