Jefferson Cox is a Research Analyst in the World Resources Institute’s (WRI) Climate and Energy Program.

Jefferson’s work at WRI focuses on renewable energy market development and corporate compliance with greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions trading programs. Before coming to WRI, Jefferson worked at Clear Carbon Consulting helping develop corporate GHG inventories and for the Rhode Island Renewable Energy Fund researching investment strategies.

Jefferson has a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech and an M.P.P. in Energy and Environmental Policy from Brown University.
