Jean-François Fischer is the Principal Consultant for WRI’s Forest Transparency Initiative in Central Africa. Based in Kinshasa, he has 7 years of tropical woods transformation and trade related experience in Central Africa - including five years in the field as plywood mill manager in Gabon and DRC. He ran a small project as self “entrepreneur” in Kinshasa. Jean-François holds a technical certificate in wood manufacturing from the Technical School of Mouchard - France and a Master in International Trade and Marketing in Wood & Derivatives from Business School of Nantes (ENACOM) - Wood College (WSC) – Nantes.
