Prior to joining WRI in 2007 as manager of the institute’s Individual Donors sector, Heidi Manger Donovan was a development officer with B’nai B’rith International, where she managed the international organization’s direct mail, telemarketing and online giving efforts.

A Colorado native, Heidi worked with a variety of educational, research and social service organizations in the state, including Peace Corps and the Colorado SIDS Program. She worked in archaeology at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and the Institute for Arctic and Alpine Research at the University of Colorado-Boulder, and also spent six months on a U.S. Forest Service excavation team in the Tongass National Forest in southeast Alaska.

Heidi is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Washington DC Chapter.
