Fred Wellington is a Senior Financial Analyst and leads the Capital Markets Research team at World Resources Institute. His research focuses primarily on the financial and competitive implications of climate change and he works with several investment banks on environmental finance topics. Previously, Fred worked on Wall Street as a research analyst specializing in Latin American equities for Flemings, a British investment bank and later, Jefferies & Co., covering technology companies. He holds an M.S. in Environmental Management and an MBA from the University of San Francisco and also holds degrees in International Business and Latin American Studies from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a member of the CFA Institute.
