About Fernando

Fernando is a Forest Engineer and Assistant Principal Advisor for WRI’s activities in Equatorial Guinea. He is from the in Ebebiyín-Kie-Ntem Province and studied at the College of Agricultural Studies, Fisheries and Forestry, National University of Equatorial Guinea (UNGE) where he received an honors diploma. He has participated in mapping and GIS projects for the Protection of Biodiversity on Bioko (BBPP) and as a team member with a census project of large primates and elephants in the continental region of the country in 2011 with the Max-Panck for Evolutionary Anthropology team. In October 2010, he held the position of Co-coordinator and assistant for WRI.
