Divya is Program Manager - Communications and Marketing at EMBARQ India. She is responsible for managing and facilitating knowledge sharing, internal communications and external relations for the organisation.

Divya has over 7 years experience in communications and branding in the non-profit sector. Prior to EMBARQ India, she worked at Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations, an independent, not-for-profit, membership-based foreign policy think tank based in Mumbai where she coordinated membership meetings and events, and managed communications and branding. Divya also worked at Oasis, an international charity, where she managed communications and donor relations for the India centre. She was on the India leadership team where she was involved with developing and monitoring organisational strategy, was part of the global team, where she co-ordinated internal communications across 10 countries, and led the global working group on communications and branding.

Divya has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and a Master’s degree in English from the University of Mumbai. She initially trained to be a teacher and taught music at a private school for two years.
