Divya is Program Manager – Communications and Marketing at EMBARQ India. She is responsible for managing and facilitating knowledge sharing, internal communications and donor relations for the organisation.

Divya has over 6 years experience in communications and branding in the non-profit sector. Prior to EMBARQ India, she worked at Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations, an independent, not-for-profit, membership-based foreign policy think tank based in Mumbai where she coordinated membership meetings and events, and managed communications and branding. Divya also worked for Oasis, an international charity, for 5 years. At Oasis India, she managed communications and donor relations, and was on the senior leadership team where she was involved with developing and monitoring organisational strategy. Divya was also part of the Oasis Global team, where she coordinated internal communications across 10 countries and chaired a global working group on communications and branding.

Divya has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and a Master’s degree in English from the University of Mumbai. She initially trained to be a teacher and taught music at a private school for two years.
