Before joining the WRI team, Cait worked at the Global Gender Program at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. In addition to coordinating proposals, budgets, and communications, she conducted research on Burmese migrant worker women in Thailand. Cait served as a Peace Corps volunteer in northeastern Ukraine from 2009-2011, focusing on civic education and HIV/AIDS issues.
Cait received a BA in English and a minor in Global Poverty and Practices from the University of California, Berkeley. Through a fellowship from the Blum Center of Developing Economies, she researched women’s participatory development in the Eastern Caribbean.
When not in the office, Cait enjoys rock climbing in West Virginia, reading short fiction, and perfecting her borscht recipe.
