Brian is an Associate with the World Resources Report (WRR) in the People and Ecosystems Program. He conducts research and writing in support of the next edition of the WRR, which will focus on sustainable food futures. His current areas of focus are on food loss and waste and food overconsumption. He also manages the administration, website, and finances for the project.

Brian also served as a co-author for the previous World Resources Report, titled Decision Making in a Changing Climate: Adaptation Challenges and Choices. This report outlines the challenges surrounding adaptation to climate change in the developing world and provides guidance on how to improve decision-making processes to meet these challenges.

Brian holds an M.S. in environmental policy from the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and Environment.
