Benjamin Kushner is a Research Analyst at WRI supporting the Coastal Ecosystems Team within the People and Ecosystems Program.

Prior to joining WRI, Benjamin served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic promoting eco-tourism projects, and later as the Coordinator of the PUNTACANA Groups’ Marine Program. He also interned for the International Union for the Conservation of Nature’ (IUCN) Mesoamerican office in Costa Rica, assisting the launch of the Caribbean Initiative.

Benjamin holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of New Hampshire and dual M.A. in International Relations and Natural Resources & Sustainable Development from American University.
