About Arthur
Arthur K. Droe is the Controller and Manager of Information Systems. He is responsible for WRI’s financial reports and bookkeeping as well as its information technology needs.

Mr. Droe joined WRI in 1994 from Greenpeace where he served as Assistant Controller for several years. He also served as Internal Audit Manager for the Agricultural and Cooperative Development Bank before joining Greenpeace. He holds a master’s degree in Accounting from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He served as Treasurer of the board of directors for DC Habitat for Humanity from 2001 - 2004, member of Washington Association of Financial Management Roundtable, National Society of Public Accountants, and the Association of PVO Financial Managers. He is an adjunct professor of accounting at Strayer University.
