About Anne-Gaelle Javelle

Anne-Gaelle is an Associate in the Institutions and Governance Program. Before joining WRI, she worked as a consultant specializing in public management. She helped French ministries and local government agencies optimize work processes and adapt their budgeting procedures to the new financial organic law.

Her interests are in institutions and democratic representation. She is now in charge of the “Equity, Poverty, and the Environment” Initiative in Central Africa.

Anne-Gaelle holds a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (2008), and a Master in Political Science with a focus on international relations and political sociology from France’s Sciences Po in Paris (2000).
