Anisha is the Associate for Strategy and Management in the Office of the Managing Director. She works with WRI’s Managing for Results platform, with a focus on program strategy planning and reporting efforts. She is closely involved with identifying and monitoring program outcomes that reflect WRI’s commitment to an impactful mission. She also helps coordinate strategic reviews within each program to ensure that objectives and projects are aligned with institutional goals.

Anisha began her career as a Financial Analyst at Citigroup. Over the past three years, she has been working with nonprofit organizations under various capacities while pursuing her interest in international development. She spent a year in India, researching rural private schools in the South and most recently worked with FHI 360’s Strategic Planning & Analysis team as a ProInspire Fellow.

Anisha is a trained Carnatic vocalist and has been practicing this form of Indian Classical music for over 20 years. Her other passions include collaborating with local artists in D.C. and discovering new vegetarian dishes to cook.
