Alyssa is the Project Coordinator II for Global Forest Watch 2.0. She supports the GFW2.0 Team by monitoring budgets, overseeing reporting requirements, maintaining contract agreements with partners, and assisting with fundraising and other administrative tasks.

Prior to joining WRI, Alyssa worked for Save the Children supporting USAID’s Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program (MCHIP). She has also conducted research on energy consumption on the Galápagos Islands, worked for an international distributor of natural food products, and taught English in Costa Rica.

Alyssa holds a Master of Development Practice from the Joseph Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, where she concentrated on Environmental and Energy Policy.

Alyssa enjoys cooking and doing just about anything outdoors, including running, snowboarding, biking, and hiking.
