Alyssa is a Product Strategist for Land & Carbon Lab. She leads the development and execution of strategies to deliver land monitoring data and information to support specific use cases and to ensure widespread access to data. Previously at WRI, Alyssa led development of the Global Forest Watch platform for 8 years.

Prior to joining WRI, Alyssa worked at Save the Children supporting a USAID-funded newborn and maternal health project. She also supported environmental lobbying efforts at Colorado Conservation Votes, researched energy consumption on the Galápagos Islands, and taught English in Costa Rica.

Alyssa holds a Master of Development Practice from the Joseph Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver and a B.A. in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Alyssa lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband, Chris, and two young kids, Mason and Quinn.
