Allison Slaughter is EMBARQ’s operations manager. She is responsible for providing administrative, financial management, and programmatic support to the EMBARQ DC team. She supports senior management in the planning and execution of program goals and collaborates with staff in EMBARQ’s international offices to refine administrative and operating procedures. Allison has twelve years combined work experience in program management, finance and administration. Prior to joining EMBARQ, Allison worked as an administrator for organizations focused on improving the health, education and social outcomes for people living at-risk.

Allison earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and Mandarin Chinese from Bates College and a Masters of Public Administration in the management of international, non-profit organizations from the New York University Wagner School of Public Service.

Allison has experience living, learning and working outside of the US in China, South Africa, Mexico and Brazil. Outside of work Allison enjoys hiking, traveling, languages and great food.
