Mr. Salva is a Transportation Engineer at EMBARQ Turkiye. He acts as the technical contact point in delivering sustainable urban transport projects across Turkey.
Mr. Salva’s experience spans across 3 countries, having lived and worked in Turkey, United Kingdom and Denmark. Previously he worked at a UK-based private consultancy where his responsibilities included traffic impact studies, urban transport planning and travel demand modeling assignments of the Norwich Northern Distributor Road.
Mr. Salva holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey and a MSc(Eng) degree in Transport Planning and Engineering from the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds, UK.
Among some of his recent certifications are “Sustainable Urban Mobility in Developing Countries” training by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, and BYPAD Bicycle Policy Audit training by FGM-AMOR Austrian Mobility Research.
He likes reading articles on alternative energies, monorails, and desalination of water. He enjoys kayaking, tea sampling, and football (soccer). Mr. Salva has Turkish nationality and Danish residency. He is currently residing in Istanbul.
