Network of Expertise in Energy Technology (NEET) Workshop, Brazil

The Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), in collaboration with the International Energy Agency (IEA), will be holding a joint energy technology workshop in Brasilia, Brazil, on November 19-20, 2007. This activity has been encouraged by the G8 Summit countries meeting at Gleneagles in 2005 to be taken up in collaboration with major emerging economies around the world. It is designed to be a platform where Brazilian policy makers, industries and R&D institutions can explore together with the IEA international collaborative programmes, current respective activities and possible areas of future collaboration.
