WEBINAR - WRI's Aqueduct Global Water Risk Mapping: Data & Methodology

New reports and articles are increasingly pointing to water risk as one of the biggest issues associated with climate change, energy production, food security, and human health. The need for better information on where and how water can create risks for companies, investors, and communities is more apparent than ever.

To address this need, the World Resources Institute (WRI) recently launched the new Aqueduct global water risk mapping tool, including 12 new indicators of water-related risk.

This webinar, scheduled for 11:00am-12:00noon EST, will take a close look at the data and methodology behind WRI’s brand new Aqueduct water risk mapping tool (http://aqueduct.wri.org/).

The Aqueduct Data & Methodology webinar provides a step by step description of how the Aqueduct water risk maps were created. The webinar will cover the hydrological modeling and data sources used to compute all 12 indicators of water-related risk, as well as the methodology used to weigh and aggregate each indicator into physical, regulatory, reputational and overall water risk scores.
