The Green Economy: Driving Business Value and Competitiveness

This WRI-hosted side event brings together business experts, national policy makers and global policy specialists to discuss successful approaches and tools to leverage strategic opportunities that the green economy presents. These discussions will be broken down into a series of three shorter panels that focus on:

• the corporate perspective in driving business value through sustainability initiatives
• the country perspective in driving competitiveness through low-carbon technology industries
• tools for companies and policymakers to measure and manage their emissions impact.

This series of discussions will include perspectives from both developed and developing countries.
