Reception and Fundraiser for Ocean Inspiration

Proceeds from this event will benefit Ocean Inspiration: A tribute to Jacques Cousteau’s 100th anniversary.

Céline Cousteau (CauseCentric Productions) and Lauretta Burke (World Resources Institute/Reefs at Risk Initiative) will present.

Ocean Inspiration will be an occasion to celebrate, recognize, and reward the achievements of ocean advocacy in any and all its forms. This two-day event, to be held October 9-10, 2010 in New York City, will include an evening gala celebration and free public forum. A portion of the proceeds from Ocean Inspiration will be designated for World Resources Institute’s Reefs at Risk initiative. World Resources Institute is joining forces with CauseCentric Productions to create a series of micro-documentaries for the Reefs at Risk initiative, produced by Céline Cousteau. The Reefs at Risk initiative will launch in early 2011 with several international events. Learn more.
