WHAT:
The World Resources Institute (WRI) and Big Room Inc. will hold a tele-press conference on Thursday to discuss the findings of a global survey of more than 340 ecolabels in 42 countries. The survey questions, ranging from certification criteria to funding sources, gauge the transparency of different ecolabel programs worldwide. WRI and Big Room Inc. will also launch a searchable online database to help companies and consumers navigate through the “green” claims of the different environmental certifications and labels.
