In order to train Chinese cement companies on how to use the GHG Protocol to develop their CO2 emissions inventory, World Resources Institute (WRI), with assistance from World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), played a key role in the conception, design, and implementation of a workshop from January 21-23, 2008 hosted by the Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate (APP) in Beijing.
