Call features leading U.S. asset owners and investors

WASHINGTON (December 15)–The sustainable investing market has picked up steam over the past year. While, by some measures, the market is already large with $8.7 trillion in the U.S. and growing rapidly (385% growth since 2007; 1 in 5 U.S. investments), asset owners are increasingly screening for risks to their portfolios and looking for opportunities in clean energy markets.

But will this trend continue during the Trump administration? What other drivers will impact sustainable investing in the coming years? And, how can asset owners and investors overcome barriers that are holding back additional growth?

Join a call to discuss the prospects for sustainable investing in 2017 and beyond with asset owners Anne Simpson of CalPERS and WRI’s Elizabeth Lewis; and asset managers David Richardson of Impax and Daniel Weiss of Angeleno Group.

The call will take place on Thursday, December 15 at 11:00 am ET. Details below.

The speakers preview the release of a new paper from WRI, Navigating the Sustainable Investment Landscape, embargoed for Monday, December 19, which explores the barriers and opportunities to grow the sustainable investing market.
