REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: Community-Scale Data Research & Processing
WRI’s mission is to move human society to live in ways that protect Earth’s environment and its capacity to provide for the needs and aspirations of current and future generations. WRI’s more than 700 experts and staff work in more than 60 countries, with our Global Office in Washington, DC and international offices in Africa, Brazil, China, Europe, India, Indonesia, Mexico, and the United States.
The project is based within the Climate Program in Washington, DC and is seeking to select a community-scale data research & processing consultant by way of this RFP. WRI is working with over ten national governments to identify relevant sectoral data at the national and regional level, which WRI then uses a model to estimate and allocate that data to the community scale. This work will support the data research, collection, cleaning, and processing of these data sets for upload into an online database for a small set of countries—at least three including Morocco, France, and either Ethiopia, Kenya, or the Philippines.
More information can be found in the attached RFP and questions should be directed to Greg Carlock. Applicants should submit one electronic copy of their application, to Greg, no later than 5:00 pm EST on Friday, June 8, 2018.
