The World Resources Institute announced today a new addition to its board of directors: Clint Vince, chair of SNR Denton’s Energy, Transport and Infrastructure sector. SNR Denton is an international law firm that has offices in 60 locations and 43 countries.

“Clint will be a great addition to our board, as he brings extensive expertise in the energy sector and is known for his sharp insights and strategic vision,” said Jonathan Lash, president, WRI. “We look forward to working with him to help shape strategies that will protect the environment and find practical solutions for business and the planet.”

Vince has over 35 years of experience, including directing the expansion of SNR Denton’s Energy team into a premier global practice that includes professionals in 43 countries, offering a full range of services to energy industry clients. He is widely recognized for his cutting-edge theories and solutions within the energy industry and has a top-tier litigation track record.

"I am deeply honored to join the board of WRI, which to me represents the 'gold standard' for providing credible information and effective action on the critical environmental issues of our time," said Vince. "In an era when divisiveness among stakeholders on controversial societal issues seems particularly sulfuric, WRI rises above the fray and looks for consensus and sustainable solutions for people and the planet."

Vince and his team of ETI professionals were awarded Energy Daily’s Leadership Award for “Most Dynamic Energy Practice” in the United States (2009). Vince has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Washington, D.C., Super Lawyers.

Prior to joining SNR Denton, Vince was the managing partner of the Washington, D.C., office of Sullivan and Worcester LLP, where he was director of the firm’s Energy practice. He served as co-chair of Verner, Liipfert, Bernhard, McPherson and Hand, where he was the founder and chair of the firm’s Energy and Environmental practice.

Vince joins former Gov. Bill Richardson as recent additions to WRI’s board of directors. A full list of board members can be found here.
