The Paris Agreement calls on countries to deliver new Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) every five years that are informed by the latest advances in technology, science and shifting economic trends. Use the 2020 NDC Tracker to explore which countries are updating or enhancing their national climate commitments in 2020 or in the lead up to COP26.

Previously, the Paris Agreement Tracker tool enabled users to monitor in real-time which countries sign and join the Paris Agreement. Users could also go further by creating, sharing and embedding their own scenarios for how to reach the two thresholds for bringing the Paris Agreement into force – reaching at least 55 countries and 55 percent of global emissions. This tool has now been updated to reflect the new rounds of submissions of countries’ NDCs.
