Launch of Building International Climate Cooperation: Lessons from the weapons and trade regimes for achieving international climate goals. This new book, coauthored by Ruth Greenspan Bell and Micah S. Ziegler of WRI, Barry Blechman and Brian Finlay of the Stimson Center, and Thomas Cottier of the World Trade Institute, explores the question of what the climate change community can learn from the experiences of other regimes that have had some success and by their nature require global action. I think this is a particularly timely piece of work following on the decisions of Durban.

Copies of the book will be available and the authors will present their findings; I will moderate the session, which will also include time for interactive discussion with the audience. Light refreshments will be available as well.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP with your name and affiliation by May 1st to Greg Fuhs at gfuhs@wri.org.

For those of you outside of DC, we will be putting a recording of the event up on our website afterwards.
