Nonprofit, communications and environmental professionals will gather to watch two short films that document best practices of sustainable transport and urban planning, produced by EMBARQ – The WRI Center for Sustainable Transport. Following the screenings, there will be a brown bag discussion about how video can be a tool for environmental change.
EMBARQ Strategic Communications and Marketing Manager Ethan Arpi will introduce EMBARQ’s videos. EMBARQ Video Production and Design Manager Dave Cooper, an award-winning graphic designer and director of the feature-length documentary film Road To Roubaix, will discuss EMBARQ’s work plan and strategy for maximizing the impact of its new video series. Q&A to follow.
The audience will learn about how EMBARQ conceptualizes, plans and executes its video projects, which help advance its mission to catalyze environmentally and financially sustainable transport solutions to improve quality of life in cities. Participants are encouraged to share their ideas for how video can be an effective tool for communicating, especially in the nonprofit sector.
