IUCN World Conservation Congress

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Conservation Congress brings together thousands of global leaders in sustainable development to discuss ideas, action and solutions for a diverse and sustainable world.

WRI will have a sizable presence at the conference. Events includes launches of three publications: the World Resource Report 2008, Ecosystem Services: A Guide for Decision Makers, and a Japanese version of the Corporate Ecosystem Services Review.

In addition, several WRI experts will speak on topics including deforestation and governance. The full schedule of events is listed below.
