Country and river basin indicators are weighted averages of WRI's Aqueduct Water Risk Atlas indicator scores. Water Risk Atlas indicators at the sub-catchment scale are spatially weighted by sectoral water use to determine average exposure of each sector within the given country or river basin. For a more complete explanation please see our methods document. For background on Aqueduct's water risk indicators please see our framework and metadata documents.
